Avoiding the sticky web of unforgiveness

A clever trick to spotting spider webs shows us how to avoid the sticky trap of unforgiveness.
Avoiding the sticky web of unforgiveness
Gotcha!
Forgive one another - Colossians 3

Each spider’s web is both a clever trap to catch prey, and a marvel of engineering, made of super-strong silk. The silk of a web is so thin, that for unsuspecting flies (and humans) they can be very difficult to see. If you’re not careful whilst out walking in the garden, out of nowhere you can get a face full of sticky web!

The key to spotting a web is to look towards the sun – then you can see the sparkling sunrays dancing on the silk strands.

Just like a spider, the devil also sets hidden traps for us to fall into. Like a web, they are cleverly designed and difficult to see. One of his common “webs” is to try to get us stuck in unforgiveness.
